Sun is the energy source of our life due to which existence of life on earth is possible . Without it , existence of life in any form can not be expected on earth. Even life of plants and its source of food is dependent on sun light. Our festivals also certify the importance of sun and its light. In our country , several
festivals are celebrated to give pooja to Sun. It is our believe that sun is real god whom we realized with our open eyes. Without blessing of Sun , no life can be imagined on the earth. In Bihar , one of the state of India, a festival is going to be celebrated in Nov.2018, which is called chhath . Chhath parve is celebrated in Bihar with great sanctity and believe. In this festival we give arghy to Sun at both sunset and next morning at sunrise. Through this festival we prey to sun to keep your blessing always on us.
Human believe and faith is other thing , but it also has several health related benefits . Every one know that by taking sun light regularly , required amount of vitamin D is fulfilled to our body . Vitamin D is very essential for our body. Do you know that , in the morning coming in the contact of sunlight , retina of our eyes whatever sun light observed , that helped in setting the biological clock of our body. This whole process helped our body in several ways. It controls our temperature of body , blood pressure and hormones productions in our body. It is an assumption of american doctors and scientist that sunlight works as a balancing power in every parts of our body.

This was the cause that in ancient times there was a ritual to give surya namaskar after taking bath . Behind this was scientific reason. When we give water to surya in the morning , sunlight passing through that water fall our body ,that provide different types of energy which protect our body from different types of disease.
If we try to think about it through other angle, then we will realize that without sunlight no life in any form on the earth can survive . So Sunlight is essential for every people and living being on the earth. As it is perception that excess sunlight to our body is harmful. In this context we should remain conscious about it and avoid over exposure to sunlight. But it is not the matter of concern for Indian and people who live in Asia and Africa. The effects of sunlight on the skin of different people have different result. As all know that Sunlight is the good source of vitamin D which makes our bone strong and disease free. In most cases of vitamin D deficiency are due to lack of outdoor sun exposure. At least one thousand different genes governing virtually every tissue in the body are now thought to be regulated by 1.25-dihydroxy -vitamin D3, the active form of the vitamin, including several involved in calcium metabolism and neuro -muscular and immune system functioning . As we know that in sunlight there is found ultra ultra violet ray which is some time assumed to be harmful. So we have to be careful about it and try to avoid direct sunlight in mid day time . In our Indian family new born baby is regularly keep in morning sunlight which make his bone more strong and disease free. In morning sunlight the percentage of vitamin D is much more than the sunlight in the day or evening time. . So we should regularly take sun light at our body during morning time.. The most benefit of exposure to sunlight in the morning is its ability to boost vitamin D in the human body.
It is also beneficial for controlling blood pressure . Regular exposure of skin to ultraviolet rays release a compound , nitric oxide ,that lowers blood pressure . The result of research showed a significant drop in blood pressure after exposure to UV rays for an hour . lastly sunlight is the big booster of vitamin D which creates immune system in our body that protects us from different disease of body.. If such is the benefit of sunlight , then why not we start taking from tomorrow morning.
